I was impressed by this filter. It was the first time I went with something other than a [brand] filter, and I am glad I did. The build quality of the filter is right on par with [brand] for half the price. I have yet to see any MPG gains, but I have noticed that my RPM's are a few hundred lower than they were with the paper filter I replaced. Cruising at 70mph my RX300 ran at 3k RPM's, now it runs around 2,800 RPM's. It was installed during the winter, right before we ran into a streak -20 degree days. If I didn't have to let the car warm up for so long, I probably would have seen an increase of MPG's.
