Product Reviews

March 11, 2017 - Part 9914K
Easy install on my 2014 CTS-V. Looks, works and sounds great. Hardest aspect of the install was the rubber bulb seal and that was due to my inexperience. Once I got that on, the rest was easy. If Spectre could professionally pre-install the seal that would make it an even easier install. I had an (Brand Replacement) intake on my '10 CTS-V, it cost at least twice as much and it was really hard to change the filter without completely dismantling it or bending the filter. Also had a (Brand Replacement) on my '12 CTS-V. It was a nice looking carbon fiber tube that used the factory air box so there was very little blower noise and it used a OEM style (Brand Replacement) filter so the filter change was easy but it really muted the supercharger sound. It also cost $400. The Spectre intake solved all these issues at half the price. It looks great, the polished tube really stands out and with the filter color options you can really get the look you want. And the sound, when the boost kicks, people take notice. K. Mahoney
