Single Plenum Kits
Spectre’s muscle car single inlet plenum kits are designed to move the air filters away from the top of the engine where under-hood hot air likes to collect. By moving the air filter away from the hot air, your engine can utilize the cooler, denser air closer to the ground or outside of the engine compartment, which helps to increase performance over an open element on top of the engine. If hood clearance is an issue, look into using one of our low profile or ultra low profile DTM plenum kits.
Low Profile Single Plenum Kits
If hood clearance is an issue, our low profile single inlet plenums are designed to help by using a lower than standard single inlet plenum. These plenum kits are designed to move the air filters away from the top of the engine where under-hood hot air likes to collect. In addition, by moving the air filters away from the hot air, your engine can utilize the cooler, denser air closer to the ground or outside of the engine compartment and helping to increase performance over an open element on top of the engine.
Standard Height
Spectre’s standard height muscle car single inlet plenum kits are designed to move the air filters away from the top of the engine where under-hood hot air likes to collect. By moving the air filters away from the hot air, your engine can utilize the cooler, denser air closer to the ground or outside of the engine compartment and helping to increase performance over an open element on top of the engine.
